Our welding positioner has a 2.5 inch through hole that allows for longer pieces of pipe or tubing . The machine runs on 110V, single phase, so it can be wheeled to most areas of any fabrication shop. We have isolated the electronics to eliminate any problems with noice. Even at the slowest RPM, the DC motor to our gearbox offers a smooth rotation allowing for perfect welds. The RMD Model 1800-WC welding positioners are a must for precision welding of round tubing, pipe, or solids. Our welding positioners come standard with a heavy duty cart on wheels that has been ergonomically designed with the users comfort in mind. The RMD Model 1800-WC is like having a rotary welding table that is portable. RMD welding machines are noted for high quality welding equipment (tubing benders, pipe benders, and notchers) and simple designs that are easy to use.

Standard with 8 inch chuck with 2.5 inch thru hole allows for long pieces of tubing or pipe. The chuck can handle up to a 4.5 inch OD as standard, and by reversing the jaws can handle up to 9.25 inch OD. Tubing and pipe can be held by the ID up to 10.75 inch. The minimum OD that can be held in the chuck is .25 inch.
Heavy duty, lubed, cast iron gear box construction allows for maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs in the vertical position and 200 lbs in the horizontal position.
Variable positioning is actuated via a hand wheel (no pins to pull) and can be infinately positioned between horizontal and vertical positions.
Variable speed DC drive with foot pedal control offers hands free operation while welding, grinding, or brazing. Speed is 0-6 RPM
The Model 1800 WC weld positioner is Made in America out of solid steel construction, weighing in at 300 lbs. The Model 1800 WC rotary welding table can be fitted with an optional 16 inch turntable adapter plate.
